Overfishing, marine habitat destruction, coastal development, global warming, and pollution are pushing our ocean ecosystems to the brink of collapse. VEGGIEFEST 2006
RICHMOND, VA

On July 29, 2006 the Richmond Vegetarian Festival 2006 will be held at
the Azalea Gardens of Bryan Park, from Noon to 7 p.m. The Festival
will feature live performances, speakers, vegetarian vendors and

11th ANNUAL L.A. TOFU FESTIVAL
LOS ANGELES, CA

On August 12-13, 2006, House Foods America Corporation will sponsor
the 11th Annual L.A. Tofu Festival in downtown Los Angeles on San
Pedro Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets. Over 100 tofu and soy
dishes prepared by area restaurants will be featured, as well as live
entertainment, a Celebrity Chef Cooking Demonstration Stage, and a
state-of-the-art Sports & Games Pavilion.

ORGANICFEST 2006
ASHEVILLE, NC

On September 9, 2006, Pure Food Partners, Asheville Parks &
Recreation, and other local and national businesses and organizations
will sponsor the 2006 Organicfest on Battery Park Ave., Asheville, NC,
between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Organicfest will feature live music,
