June 2006 – New Moon Celebrate Life Day
Sunday, June 25th was a New Moon on this side of planet Earth, and Think.Act.Unity celebrates life every New Moon.
It was grey and it rained all day, it was a beautiful day of cleansing Mother Earth gave us. We rejoiced in the comfort of our new home as we moved boxes around and put the healing room together. Then we feasted on delicious meatless patties, veggies and hummus. Yum ![]()
Meditation was blissfully gratifying, as always is.
“When I awoke and realized I was walking by the hand of Divine I remembered it was not a dream but a memory, and all along in my life I knew, but had forgotten.” –Adriana Z.
Monday morning, I was listening to the news where they were sharing Iraq stats and stories. Discussed the huge problems with sexual harassment and talked about American and Iraqi killings. The specifics they use on the radio astonishes me, they know how to provide the words for horrifying mental visuals. What really felt like a slap in the face to me was when immediately after they had shared with us about the fear of women soldiers of being sexually abused, and then described mutilations and murders that take place in this “shameful war”, they jumped right into the stock… I didnt even get a chance to finish my deep breath after the sad stories, that they were already talking about who is up and who is down in the stock market. Shame on them! The least they can do after announcing the death of a person is grant a minute of silence.
It is moments like these that inspire me and urge me to speak up. I am a citizen of Earth and I don’t agree with keeping this war alive, I vote for World Peace, we at Think.Act.Unity. vote for World Peace. The war has been going on for too long, it’s time to rest now, it’s time to stop shooting at each other, put down the guns, and just everybody go home. My heart aches by the mere thought that right now, at this precise moment, we are acting like animals against each other. Haven’t we hurt enough?! Join us in the attempt to bring World Peace, let’s unite as one voice, one mind, one heart.
I know it in my heart that if we bring more and more people together to raise energy of Love and shed our Light -together- we can make a difference, a HUGE difference. Can’t you feel it that way in your heart? If you tune into to your heart you will feel it too.
Look for Beauty in the World. You can find it in many places, all around. If you look at the horizon you’ll find it. If you look at the mountain landscape, the valleys and hills; over by the rivers and lakes. If you look into the eyes of a baby, or the smile of a child. Beauty is everywhere, it’s magical. When you look at the sky and notice its strokes of clouds and parade of stars, you see beauty. Notice the birds and how they interact with each other and you will see beauty. As the pair of butterflies fluttering around the garden together brings beauty, if you bring your attention to the ground below and see the ants, caterpillars and grasshoppers you are guaranteed to find beauty there too. Beauty is Love made manifest, it’s Divine Spirit visible. Look for beauty around you, it will fill your heart with an exhilarating sensation. Love is contagious and it spreads fast. Let’s start here and now.
The next New Moon’s Celebrate Life Day will be Tuesday, July 25, 2006. Prepare, gather and feast! Be a Beacon of Light for the planet, meditate for Peace on Earth.
We wish the world a blessed remainder of the month of June and a happy and harmonious July. Celebrate safely!
